The constant temperature mixing valve is a supporting product for heating systems, widely used in electric water heaters, solar water heaters, and centralized heating water systems. And can be used in conjunction with electric and solar water heaters. Users can adjust the temperature of the cold and hot water mixture according to their needs. The required temperature can be quickly reached and stabilized, ensuring that the outlet temperature is constant and not affected by changes in water temperature, flow rate, and water pressure. This solves the problem of sudden cold and hot water temperature in the bathing center. When the cold water is interrupted, the mixing valve can automatically close the hot water within a few seconds, providing safety protection.

Working principle:

At the mixing outlet of the constant temperature mixing valve, a thermosensitive element is installed, which uses the characteristics of the temperature sensing element to drive the valve core inside the valve body to move, block or open the inlet of cold and hot water. While blocking cold water, turn on hot water. When the temperature adjustment knob is set to a certain temperature, no matter how the inlet temperature and pressure of cold and hot water change, the proportion of cold and hot water entering the outlet also changes, so that the outlet temperature remains constant. The temperature adjustment knob can be set arbitrarily within the specified temperature range of the product, and the constant temperature mixing valve will automatically maintain the outlet temperature.

Installation matters

1. The red mark indicates the hot water inlet. The blue mark shows the cold water inlet.

2. After setting the temperature, if there is a change in water temperature or pressure, the change in outlet water temperature should be within ± 2.

3. If the pressure of the cold and hot water is inconsistent, a one-way check valve should be installed at the water inlet to prevent the cold and hot water from flowing together.

4. If the pressure difference ratio between cold and hot water exceeds 8:1, a flow limiting and pressure reducing valve should be installed on the side with high pressure to ensure that the mixed water valve can be adjusted normally.

5. When selecting and installing, please pay attention to whether the requirements such as nominal pressure and mixed water temperature range match the product parameters

Using debugging

1. When adjusting the temperature, the outlet water flow should be set to maximum.

2. The forward rotation direction of the adjustment button is for cooling, while the reverse rotation direction is for heating. Please pay attention to adjusting from the low temperature direction to the high temperature direction for the first time to prevent burns.

3. The end of the adjustment button in the low temperature direction is to turn off hot water, while the end in the high temperature direction is to turn off cold water. If the hot water temperature is not high, you can turn off cold water and only use hot water for bathing. However, after use, you should pay attention to adjusting back to the low temperature area to avoid burns in the next use.

4. If the inlet pressure of cold and hot water is inconsistent and a one-way check valve is not installed, please note that after each use, adjust the temperature control knob to the end of the low-temperature direction, that is, turn off the hot water state, to prevent the cold and hot water from flowing together to the greatest extent possible.
