The electrothermal actuators are used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The actuators can be used for room temperature control or as zone valves. They can be used, with conventional radiators, radiators with integrated valve sets, heating circuit manifolds, radiant heating ceilings, cooling ceilings and induction units in conjunction with on/off room thermostats. All electrothermal actuators are protected against overvoltage, a varistor is not required. The actuators in the variants "normally closed" and "normally open". The model with auxiliary switch can switch e.g. a pump directly via the integrated, potential-free contact.

This thermal actuator (zone valve) is a thermally activated, slow-opening valve that provides individual flow control (per loop) on a multi-zoned manifold (manifold serving more than one zone) in a water radiant floor heating system. Actuators are normally closed (NC)and will open when power is applied. It is compatible with manifolds and many other brands.
